Welcome to South Shore Port Antiques and Collectables. SSP is an internet based antique shop, we do not have a brick and mortor store front. It is run by myself and my fiance out of Culver City, Ca. near the Los Angeles airport. I am the collector and my fiance helps with the sale of my stuff, maybe too much. Being a collector at heart and not a peddler, its hard to part with some things, but I do hope that all is quality and fairly priced. Since all of the products listed on this site are ours we can therefore be pursuated to negotiate at times. We strive for a friendly, honest and professional transaction. I hope you enjoy the site as this is the second generation that now incorporates a database and shopping cart. I did it myself as I do websites on the side. The name South Shore Port originates from my previous home in San Pedro Ca. where I began developing websites in 1996. I had a nice ocen view of the harbor from my little condo. The area I lived in was next to an area unofficially called the south shores area. I liked it . I was interested in transfering a fun local beach shop with a small town neighborhood feel that captured where I lived. On the other site of town was the LA harbor or port just out my balcony window. So when I put the two together I got my shop name. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stoping bye to visit.
